T O P I C R E V I E WFatedCinderellaTell me the effects, please.outofideasI suppose this is for the synastry aspect. If that's the case this video pretty much sums up my personal experience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i1h06GA4bMw I would say that the Sun (planet) person is always more invested in to the house person in the sense that they are most often the 'provider'.FatedCinderellaYes it is synastry. Thanks for the link and your opinion mereiposaI have had two relationships with their Sun in my 8th. My Sun is in the 8th as well. Both were significant love relationships. I felt very intensely drawn to both of them. I like to delve deep with most people and understand them from the core, but I felt really compelled to get to the bottom of both of these men. I disagree with the above, because I felt I as the house person was more invested in the relationship, and definitely more committed, than both of these men. I have not really had too many close friendships with other Suns in my 8th to compare or contrast this with. But another significant relationship I had with his Sun in my 6th did not have the same intense need to uncover the man. I was curious about him, but it wasn't the same.girlwiththerainysoulit's not the most romantic placement. it can be hot for sure but it's often too stressful or intense to really be enjoyable, or sustainable in time.many feelings of insecurity can be aroused in us with this aspect. we may constantly feel under the pressure to live up to the sun person's expectations. it always feels like the sun person is breathing down our neck or looking to punish us for something we did wrong. also, constantly fearing that we might be abandoned by the sun.the sun person may feel like a benefactor when it comes to the house person. they may have the urge to help them financially or socially. or they may look down on the house person or pity them for living a lower quality life.yeah personally I'm not fond if this aspect when it comes to romance, unless good moon and venus interactions also exist. ChaitalyI've been in a long relationship with my sun in his 8th,and Sun conjunct Pluto in Composite. Many other good aspects in synastry, along with a lot - a lot - of quincunxes, and the relationship has been loving, we grew very attached, and it has been quite a success, many good things happened; if I had to make an assessment, I wouldn't say it has been hard, not even easy,I think just one aspect doesn't tell you if the relationship will be better or worst than many others.GrachaI was sun in their (2) 8th house, neither wanted an exclusive relationship, only sex....FatedCinderella quote:Originally posted by girlwiththerainysoul:it's not the most romantic placement. it can be hot for sure but it's often too stressful or intense to really be enjoyable, or sustainable in time.many feelings of insecurity can be aroused in us with this aspect. we may constantly feel under the pressure to live up to the sun person's expectations. it always feels like the sun person is breathing down our neck or looking to punish us for something we did wrong. also, constantly fearing that we might be abandoned by the sun Thanks Really?that looks more like a moon thing,no?I mean the fear of abandonment and the pressure! I'm EXTREMELY plutonium, so having my sun in his 8th, we also had venus conjunct pluto and hard saturn aspects too. I never really knew what aspects played out in our long 18 year relationship....I'm still not sure to this day if he ever indeed loved me or just obsessed...???
